Sir Chris Bonington in Katoomba

Gearins Hotel, 30th January 2009

In association with our friends at Berghaus, we were fortunate to host British mountaineering legend Sir Chris Bonington. Chris presented a fascinating audio visual presentation of his early climbing career covering ascents in the Britain and the European Alps, the famous 1970 ascent of Annapurna, and the Central Tower of Paine in Patagonia. It was a fantastic night, and we look forward to him visting again.
