Salomon introduces the ultimate long distance trail running pack. Designed for serious trail runners in the most demanding conditions, the S-Lab XA Advanced Skin 12 Set provides enough capacity to carry all required equipment plus hydration for demanding races like The North Face 100 in a comfortable, secure package that neither binds nor chaffes even after hours of strenuous activity. Based on the success of the stretch fit, XA Advanced Skin SLab 5 pack introduced last year, the 12L pack is a response to requirements by longer races that athletes carry more safety essentials. 12 Liter volume, dividable into separate compartments, allows storage of safety gear separately from layering pieces or food, and external stash pouches built in offer a convenient place to access items one needs to access more quickly. The XA Advanced Skin packs are all about motion fit.

To keep their gear secure without inhibiting agility, Salomon created a revolutionary Sensifit Construction. Built from soft, very breathable, stretch mesh, the pack wraps snugly around the athlete while securing the load. Even the binding material on the seams stretches, so both movement and breathing remain unrestricted. Replacing traditional sternum straps, a Twin Link system incorporates stretchy material with easy adjustment, further securing the pack. "The XA Advanced Skin is the only pack I've ever used that doesn't feel like I'm carrying a pack," explains Ryan Sandes, International Trail Running Team Member for Salomon. "The Sensifit construction moves with me so well that I barely feel it when I run. No more bouncing around, bothering my back or hips, and it is very easy to adjust. Having the larger size is also critical now that we have gear requirements in longer races."
